Bombay To Bangkok- Director-writer Nagesh Kukunoor wanted a Thai girl for the role of ‘Jasmine’, and after 200 Thai actresses were auditioned in Bangkok, Lena Christensen was chosen. Lena Christensen is also a television presenter and singer, she hosts an aerobics show and just released a music album – ‘Lena body beats’. Lena, who does know English in real life, unlike in the film, came to Bombay for a few days to rehearse with her co-star Shreyas Talpade.
